What is the scope of this Privacy Policy?

"MoreEmail", "we", "our", "us" refers to MoreEmail.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by MoreEmail ("Services"), which includes the services offered on the website moreemail.com.

Depending on the context, "you" means MoreEmail User, Business Profile or Visitor:

  • When you create a MoreEmail account to use the Services, we refer to you as an "MoreEmail User".
  • When your personal data appears on public web pages, it might be collected by MoreEmail to provide the Services. In this case, we refer to you as a "Business Profile".
  • When you visit a Site without being logged into a MoreEmail account, we refer to you as a "Visitor".

The database of Business Profiles provided in the Services to MoreEmail Users is refered as the "Profiles Database".

What personal information does MoreEmail collect?

When you visit our website

When you visit our website, MoreEmail tracks your usage which includes statistics such as which pages you visit and how long you look at them. This may include information such as IP address, geolocation information, browser type and information about the use of our website, including a history of the pages you view.

When you create a MoreEmail account

When you create a MoreEmail account, we ask information such as your email address, your name or what company you work for. In some cases, we might ask for a phone number for verification purposes. If you become a paying customer, we will collect your payment card information.

When you use our services

When you use our services, we monitor your usage of the Services, and log requests that you make. Those logs can include information such as IP address, geolocation information, or the browser used.

When using our Services, you might send us some data or files. For example, enter domain name in the Quick Search or Bulk Search.

When you contact our support

If you reach out via email or chat, we keep conversations and other data you might send during those exchanges. When you delete your account, those conversations are removed after a period of up to 6 months.

When we collect public web data

We crawls public web pages to collect data related to professional profiles. Only public web pages and publicly available content are processed. Similarly to search engines, MoreEmail's robot follows the robots.txt standard instructions and doesn't crawl a website if indicated not to.

On those public pages, MoreEmail's robot looks for business data such as names, professional email addresses, job titles. If MoreEmail's robot comes across private consumer data such as a personal email address, it does not process it.

How does MoreEmail use your data?

To give access to the Services

When creating an account, you enter personal information such as your name and contact information. This data is used to enter into business relationship with you. This information allows us to authenticate you with your MoreEmail account.

To offer customer support

We provides customer support via email or chat, to help you take full advantage of our Services or fix problems you encounter. To do so, the customer success specialist will access the information relevant to the issue. It can be account information or activity monitoring.

To fight fraud

MoreEmail has automated systems in place to fight payment fraud and violation of our Terms of Service. It uses various information and signals related to the account activity. In certain cases, this information is reviewed manually.

To share updates and help content

We use the contact information shared by MoreEmail Users or Visitors to share information about the service, announce new features, or share relevant educational content.

Update and delete your information

If you’re a MoreEmail User, you can log in to update your information. You can also permanently destroy your account in your settings.

Third party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.

Use of cookies

We use cookies to make sure the Sites work properly, analyze the use of the Services, improve your experience and keep track of your session. We also use cookies to track your interaction with the website to improve its usability and decide how to improve the software.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

A Data Processing Agreement, including the Standard Contractual Clauses, supplements the Terms of Service for all MoreEmail Users. It is a contract between you, as a controller of your account's data, and us, as a processor of this data.
